State of the Fic Update

It's done! Whoo!!!!!

Words: 54,839
Pages: 144
Number of really really weird new Google searches now in my search history: 25
Days since I started writing: 12. (I know.)
Number of speedbumps (mini writer's blocks) hit: 4-5.
Days since I first had the idea for the story: 300 at least, I think.
Title Found: Heck yeah!

After I let the fic sit and mellow for a bit, I will do my own edit (I always do this) for the usual crud like typos and awkward wording, etc., and then it is off to my betas for a true scrub-down. I am hoping to post it ahead of the Big Bang fics, as a sort of appetizer for all those wonderful huge fics about to appear, so I'm hoping -- within a week or two? I will let y'all know.

Whew. I am DONE.

someone recently sent me a fairly random collection of your stories (all of which I'd read before, but not all at once, you know?) and man, you're really good. I probably should have noticed that earlier, say, Omnia time, but I'm slow.

Anyway, I can't wait for the new one!

Aw, thanks! I guess I'm sort of an internet fandom old-timer by now, having been writing fic for over 7 years. It doesn't feel that long to me!
