I have to help select music for a 20-month-old's funeral. This little girl has had serious medical problems since birth, so in some ways it's a good thing that she's finally at peace -- and that her family, who have had to deal with caring for a terminally-ill baby since the day she was born, are finally able to let go of the day-to-day devastation -- but I just.

The little girl's mother is trying to decide between Jesus Loves Me and Twinkle Twinkle. That makes my heart hurt every time I think of it.

My thoughts are with you, and with the child's family. My parents went through the same thing with my sister a very long time ago.

You didn't ask for any of us to weigh in on this task, but I've uploaded a few things for you here (http://www.sendspace.com/file/3qenm4). Feel no obligation to listen or even download -- you have more than enough to deal with right now -- but on the off-chance that they help you, I wanted to do this. Music is my way of dealing with many hard things, so it was the least I could do. These are some of the songs I might use, if I had to do what you're doing.

I'm so, so sorry. I've been around terminally ill babies, and the whole process is just so incredibly heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers go out to you, her mom, and everyone else there.
