toomuchplor: (omgyaye!)
Now, I know I'm kinda biased because this is my niece and all, but --

COME ON!

She's just reedonkulous with the green-blue eyes and the long lashes and the GREEN PANTS.

*dies from cute*

What a cutie! She really is a beautiful baby.

*beams* Outsider confirmation! Haha...

I try to resist the urge to just dress her up and pose her and take pictures whenever I'm looking after her. But I'm weak.

Hee! I tried to persuade her to smile without the keys in her mouth but she's teething so it's a lost cause. Keys in mouth = happy. No keys = not happy.

Haha... the best part is she smiles the most when she sees her own reflection. She's such a little diva. She's only 6 months old but she already knows that when you take a picture of her, she should grab for the camera and check herself out.

She is ADORABLE!!! Genevieve has a set of teething keys like that *G*. Is she crawling everywhere yet?

She's not crawling YET but she's only 6 1/2 mos. She's dying to crawl though -- holding her in your lap is like trying to hold onto a monkey. She gets her hands under her and then looks perplexed because she's not sure what to do with her feet. It's pretty hilarious.

Genevieve did that - she'd put her hands down on the floor and shove her butt into the air and then get stuck there looking at me like "What do I do with my legs?" Then she'd fall over *G*.

Yeah, my niece tends to do the same thing. My brother (her dad) insists that she's falling over *on purpose* because she *wants to* but I think he's just being parental.

No, no, you're quite correct! Reedonkulous is definitely the word to use (and more babies should wear green - all this pink/ blue gender overkill wearies me excessively...). Me likes green. ;^)

You put them keys in the freezer for her, right?

My sister-in-law and I agree with you on this. I mean, pink is cute, but it's not the only colour. She and I both start gagging when people present the baby with cutesy butterfly/teddybear/bunnyfluff-adorned clothing.

You put them keys in the freezer for her, right?

No, not those ones. She seems to have backed off on the constant complaining about her gums so there's no immediate need.

Yeah, it's a defense mechanism against all the times that she's smelly and less cute.

Aren't they? I'm so curious how they'll come out: dad's eyes are grey-blue-green and mom's eyes are hazel-green, so I think this kid is going to have a very cool eye colour.

She turned out pretty good. My sister-in-law frequently blinks at her and says, "I can't believe she's MINE." I think she was bracing herself for one of those homely babies.

Hee. She's not that snuggly, unfortunately, unless she's actually completely unconscious. When she's awake it's like trying to hold on to a running fire hose.
