You guys are all so sweet! No one has mentioned yet that Mike left Tom's house with his jeans hanging open and no shirt.

*facepalms*

I actually wrote the bulk of that part well over a week ago, but was dissatisfied with the ending and only managed the rewrite last night. Hence my complete stupidity at remembering where everyone's clothes are. I will make revisions accordingly.

[/crippling dumbness]

On another note, does anyone have any recommendations for cheap and reliable web hosting? I see numbers for webspace and bandwidth and immediately get confused. As a picture-liking but non-vid/music-hosting person, what do I need? And where should I go to get it?

I. I kind of wondered about that, but figured you did that on purpose and that it was supposed to be part of the effect. Or something. Um.

Well... I figured he fixed up his jeans at some point but you just didn't tell us about it.

Um, see the problem is, I was *always* picturing Mikey with his jeans undone and no shirt... :)

I'm really enjoying the Barista!Mike series, and your writing is excellent. In exchange for sharing all your wonderful stories, you get my appreciation and some information :). If 100 MB space is enough for you (small web resolution pictures and mainly text) then you can get it for 0 dollars at doteasy.com price list (http://www.doteasy.com/Services/WebHosting/). Of course, it doesn't have any frills on it, just basic files and html and also not very high bandwidth(which means your site might be unavailable if too many people try accessing it. I use 1and1's webhosting service Beginner's hosting plan (http://order.1and1.com/xml/order/HostingBeginner;jsessionid=CA3DBE8D6A85869C9004C2842B371EB8.TC60b?__frame=_top&__lf=Static). It's less than 3 dollars a month and has about 5 GB of space, which is probably way more than you need but it's cheaper than most, if not all others(as far as I know) and you can store your stuff online and use it as a portable hard drive, I suppose. The service is good, and it also comes with a free domain. Hope that helps.

I'm with Iykwim! Why would we picture Mikey any other way?

Also, Vox populli has some cheap plans and (even better!) is fan friendly. the person running it has even offered to donate special space for fannish projects - like brief uploads to be shared, etc. I've not had any problems with my site there. :)

Oh - and cheap - $5/yr for the cheapest plan, cheap.

I'm loving Barista. It reads like an AU.

I love it. if I didn't comment earlier it was because I was dazzled by your storytelling.
