Comment, and link to pics if they're handy, too. I think someone who would have less sexual chemistry with TW would be ideal, but then MR has more sexual chemistry with even inanimate objects than any other human, so that's a pretty broad category.

Wentworth Miller, maybe? He was around doing small guest roles in 2001. Same age as MR, too.
Ditto Eion Bailey. Four years younger than MR.
Didn't Jensen Ackles say once that he auditioned for Clark? Maybe the producers could have decided to go in a different direction with him?
My personal choice of those three would be Wentworth.
