So it's been some time since I wrote anything substantial and posted it. Whenever I go on these long writing hiatuses it seems I have to sort of clear a lot of rubbish out of my brain before good stuff starts appearing on the page as well. As a result, I've written upwards of 60 pages of fic over the past month and none of it is either complete or fit for public consumption. But! One of the stories, which has just cracked 11,000 words, is actually reaching some sort of near-conclusion and may appear on my LJ in the next week or so. I just think it's funny that I apparently have this sort of "pump-priming" phase whenever I'm getting back into the groove.
