The last few days I've been reveling in podfic -- I can knit and read at the same time! -- and loving the sense of being told a story. So many readers have such beautiful voices, it's truly a pleasure to listen.

So, of course, I thought I'd torment all of you with my own little Canadian voice (I sound like an 8-year-old, you'll see) reading a fic of my own. I especially love the long stories -- you can stretch them out over a few car trips -- so I chose a longer one to read. Oh, and you'll hear (at different times) my parents' mantle clock and my dog jingling around the house. Ahaha...

I've been told I'm a fast reader, but I do try to enunciate. And, considering I'm a professional musician, it would totally make sense for me to compose and insert my own little snippets of instrumental prelude and interlude music. However, I did not. I am lazy. Hope this is entertaining for y'all!
