Oh Jehosephat, this had me howling, remembering my own self-education with Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Sex.... (a fairly reprehensible piece of work, actually), Valley of the Dolls & whatever else I could ferret out of a small-town library. Nora is so much cooler than I ever dreamed of being.
