In which I am heartless. Finally.
Wow, this is actually my first big flist-related wank, and I've been around for like 3 years now! Bravo to the brave few, y'all. That shit pinged my weird-o-meter *instantly* and I'm glad you guys had the cajones to go all sleuth-y and figure things out.
(I really don't think of myself as a cynical person, but I do pride myself on having a bullshit detector that's, like, factory-installed, and precious little patience for bullshit. And I figure this is like a rite of passage for me as a fannish person because I think I've passed the mystical stage of starry sweet politeness to one and all. Not that I'm going to embrace universal rudeness and cruelty -- just that I'm done with the pretense of being lovable and darling 100% of the time. I'm not really that nice. Shocking, isn't it? Heh.)
(And now I'm totally wondering who on my flist actually thinks of me as a nice person. Maybe the act hasn't been that convincing after all! *g* Hrm, how about a poll?:
