Chiming in late to second-third-fourth the love for the Katie Brown story - I love what you have there, and would gladly read more (but I don't mean it as pressure; it's good reading just this too!). I also really enjoyed the snippets of the post-apocalyptic one; I love this sort of ambiance. I have a 'details above all else' kind of pull for stories and your details are just generally spot on and perfect, realistic and telling both.
