I applaud you. I think if anything happened to me, nobody would tell LJ land. I honestly don't expect anybody who wouldn't have heard with a phone call to be that distressed or worry that much. Y'know? I would think my husband would check my e-mail like once every two weeks and maybe reply to people that left comments wondering where I was.

I think it's a little creepy to have somebody's trauma-status updated every few hours and crap, real or not. I'm a little distant in electronic medium though, so maybe it's just me.
