I swear to blog, every time I see one of those 'Nanny' shows or hear stories like this I call my mom and thank her for not bringing the crazy in her parenting style. And she had good excuses to get nutty with it what with her kids being only 13 months apart (to the day!) and me having some medical stuff when I was a baby...

What the hell was that one mom doing when she was ignoring her emails? Oh, I know! Micromanaging the insane hell out of her kids' lives! And no, the goal isn't about raising functional, independent human beings, it's about raising dependent ornamental validations of *Mommy's* self-worth and self-esteem. Didn't you get the memo? ;^)
