Yeah, seconds to the above. I guess it's the dreamworld aspect that's grabbed people - fans can do pretty much what they want with it. Same reason the sci-fi series like SG1 and SGA work well, as there are so many bizarre plotlines. Sex pollen FTW! But the trouble with a movie is it lacks the depth of a longer TV series so the characterisation feels thin (especially as it actually is thin in Inception), plus other than the occasional gorgeous bloke (I'm partial to Tom Hardy myself, it's the accent) there was insufficient snark overall.
