SV Fic: Long Way Around

  • May. 12th, 2011 at 12:01 PM
toomuchplor: (sv musical)
Pairing: Clark/Lex
Rating: NC-17
Length: ~2,600 words
Summary: In which Clark is a minx and Lex probably doesn't actually mind all that much. For [livejournal.com profile] scribblinlenore's Smallville Nostalgia Challenge.
Warnings: Underage? Though I don't specify an age, this is definitely high school!Clark so it's probably categorically jailbait fic. Oh, Smallville...

Also on AO3 if you prefer to read it there.

I have no idea what compelled me to do so, but I paged through some of my old Smallville fic tonight. In my mind, my SV stuff (and now, not a small portion of my SGA stuff) is all lumped into the category "old and probably bad" (which is mostly true) but I stumbled across a particular story that still bites into me and holds on. I kind of love that feeling. I certainly am not a prolific writer but it's cool that I've been doing this for a while now, and yet I can still go back a few years and find stuff I really like among my pieces. I found myself rereading lines and tasting the ideas I was writing and feeling really happy and proud that I had managed this once upon a time. I hope someday I'll have the same feeling about something I've written in SGA.

If any of you cares to know, this is the fic I was rereading.

WiP Amnesty!

Finally! A fic-posting thing I can do!

It bears re-re-reiteration that this is WiP Amnesty and therefore, no. I won't write more. I promise, this is it, love it or leave it.

Fandom: Smallville
Rating: PG (though it would totally have gotten way smuttier)
Pairing: Clark/Lex
Summary: Clark gets sent back in time. Hijinks ensue.

A/N: Okay, so the idea is that future!SuperClark gets sent back somehow (insert phlebotnum here) into the body of his puppy!Clark self (think 1st season). His enmity for Lex is strong, but eventually he gets to remember how Lex used to be. This turns into noticing how he used to be around Lex. Which of course ends in the gay sex. Amen.

The file's called 'Switcheroo', sadly, so I'm gonna have to go with that. )

Fandom: Supernatural
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Sam/Dean. See A/N.
Summary: Supposed to have been a sort of 'missing scenes' extravaganza.

A/N: I wrote exactly one extended fic in SPN and I honestly thought I'd write more because I love the show, but it turns out I do have some scruples (damn it!) and I just can't write the brotherly love. This fic was headed that way, and so it got stalled. Sorry about that. But I love pieces of this so much, I wish I could salvage it somehow.

If their lives were a TV show )

Fandom: Supernatural
Rating: R
Pairing: Sam/Dean. AU. See A/N.
Summary: Sam's a hooker. Dean's his defense attorney. Or something. I never got that far.

A/N: Here's another unfinished Wincest piece. I'm actually under orders from [livejournal.com profile] sparktastic to finish this ("I don't even watch this show, but -- hooker! You HAVE TO OMG."), but I won't.

Hooker!Sammy )

Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis
Rating: NC-17
Pairing: I have no clue. Well, initially it's McKay/Brown. But I think it was sort of headed for McKay/Sheppard.
Summary: Katie's POV. It's weird.

A/N: Another fic I can't seem to make any progress with, though this time it's not because of incest, thank god. I love isolated moments of this and I even have a vague idea of what the arc might have been, but it all got a bit jossed by 'Sunday' and I found myself not minding -- so, here:

Weird McKay/Brown )

Fandom: Stargate: Atlantis
Rating: R
Pairing: N/A. I think it's sort of gen, though there may have been some established McKay/Sheppard in there.
Summary: Post-apocalypse fic without the apocalypse.

A/N: I love the idea of the post-apocalyptic world, and SGA seems to lend itself to that scenario nicely -- it would be so simple to cut the expedition off from the Milky Way, and with the Wraith, losing Atlantis could be all too simple. My notion with this fic was to write a post-apocalyptic AU where no one talks about what happened and everyone starts to realize that life is just *life*, even after the worst has come and gone. I planned to write the fic as a series of emotional 'postcards' from the Atlantis crew, not really joined up except in theme. It got a bit too disjointed and I lost interest. Oh, and this is the second (2nd) fic where I go into detail about peeing outside. I need help.

SV Fic: Take the Quiet Road Beside

toomuchplor: (one of those days)
What an exciting post-Christmas week -- spent the last three days cleaning out, culling, sorting, and re-filing all the music and assorted other crap in my church music library. But it's nearly all done now and I couldn't be happier -- I have MANY EMPTY SHELVES and NO ONE is allowed to know or they will be all over my tidied up ass with their own useless crap. That's right! MY EMPTY SHELVES! WHICH I WILL FILL WITH INSTRUMENTS.

In other news, I wrote a Mystery Schmoop fic for [livejournal.com profile] undermistletoe. Yet more shocking is the fact that it's Smallville fic. Go me!

Fandom: SV
Rating: PG
Pairing: Clark/Lex
Summary: Tonight the mercury’s dropped below zero, which means that Clark’s making soup.
A/N: Title and story both inspired by Hawksley Workman.

Thanks to everyone who voted for me! Technically, this fulfills my 10-drabble promise, but I might come back to the remaining prompts someday!

To be honest, I just opened this file last night to see if it was finally time to relegate it to the folder called 'Doomed to Incompletion'. (Yes, it really exists on my computer.)

It had been frustrating the hell out of me for several reasons, mostly because I knew Chloe had a story to tell but I couldn't figure out what exactly she wanted to say. And last night -- she told me.

Rating: R

Pairing: Clark/Lana (don't judge me, damn you!)

Genre: Character study (Chloe's POV).

Summary: Chloe will always want to know everything about everything.

A/N: Set mid-season 5, before we knew anything about Clark and Lana's physical relationship after Clark regains his powers. Could be considered mildly AU, but this was written (or started) before it got jossed by canon. There's a good chance that this is one of those fics that I like even though everyone else finds it odd or off-putting. But I don't care! Because Chloe *talked to me*!

Madelyn Appreciation!

  • Feb. 26th, 2006 at 1:46 PM
toomuchplor: (omgyaye!)
If you haven't already, get your hineys over to [livejournal.com profile] favoritefangirl and fangirl the hell out of [livejournal.com profile] svmadelyn.

Here's my contribution, and my preamble:

What to do for so wonderful a creature as Madelyn? Well, since (as she observed sweetly), I've given her nothing but belated flailing for her birthday the past few years, I felt like I owed her. A lot. This girl is the queen of organization, of bringing people together, of the whole fannish experience for many of us. Way back in the day, when I posted my very firstest fanfics, she was one of the firstest to comment ever. She said:

Heya! I just read this up on the SSA and wanted you to know I really enjoyed it. You had good description throughout and the story had a great rhythm to it.

Very cute story. :D

Which made me squee and run around lots, because feedback of any kind, let alone sweet positive feedback, was this huge novelty. And she liked it! And I only realized later that I had been visited not by just any Random Angel, but by one of the coolest and most amazing people in the fandom. I felt (and feel) so lucky to have her among my LJ friends.

I said:

I'm very new (as in, started reading it last week) to slash - and it's wonderful, the amount of great feedback I've gotten so far. I feel very hugged.

The fic she commented on was Aria, and it seemed only fitting that I return to it for this celebration of all things Madelyn. So! More than 2 and a half years later, here is another ficlet in the Opera Series.

Hope you like this, sweetie. You deserve all this adulation and more. *mad hugs*

Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Clark/Lex
Rating: R
Summary: The music never stops.
A/N: A sequel to Aria and Recitative, the last in the Opera Series.

Fic!

toomuchplor: (omgyaye!)
Well, it's not *new* fic, but I always get excited when I do anything with this universe. You see, Off Like a Shot (the first in the series) was actually my first SV fic and my first fanfic. And Three's a Crowd was kind of the first extended fic I wrote that stuck pretty close to series canon at that point. And now, Up the Yin Yang (formerly known as Three Balls and a Baby) is my first mpreg.

It'll probably also be the last. *prays fervently*

But in all seriousness, I did some fairly major revisions to the end (which was written a bit hastily, if you recall), and now I'm all happy because I feel like the piece is working at last. So hurrah!

Rating: NC17
Pairing: Clark/Lex
Summary: Clark and Lex find a new balancing point. Mpreg.
A/N: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] runpunkrun for urging me to try harder. I have a giant crush on her and would probably jump off a cliff if she asked me to, but I'm even happier to do her bidding when she's so fricking *right* about things. And thanks to all the voting members of the flist, who made me write this thing in the first place. (Play yer cards right, and we just might see that Ethel-centric sequel!)

Up the Yin Yang

I've also updated my fic website (though not with Yin Yang yet), so pop by and see if you missed anything if you like!

As you can probably see below, I've reposted Part 3 in its entirety (so far) on my website. As I mentioned the other day, I uncovered some interesting discrepancies in the Clark and Lex timelines, namely that it was apparently simultaneously Saturday in Smallville and Monday in Metropolis. Fixed now, and rearranged, but you probably don't have to re-read the whole thing to recalibrate your brain. Just click the cut-tag below and trust that I have solved the issue without resorting to some sort of time-space tear opening up in Constellation!verse.

If, however, you *do* want a refresher, Part 3 as posted includes today's installment, so you'll be up to date by the end.

I've been thinking about it, and I think I need motivation of some sort to finish this beast. It barely got pulled off the scrap-heap this time, I tell you. I want to burn/eat/delete it at this point. So! Make me a deal! Offer me porn or cookies or naked Clarks and dangle them in front of me like the proverbial carrot before the donkey! Tell me I won't get whatever it is until the next installment, or the end of Part Three, or the bloody epilogue! It's either that, or I'm reinstituting the poetry-as-feedback fiasco of oh-four. And, oh yes, I *would* go there! Limericks ahoy! [/wanky writerly empty threats]

Rating: NC-17
Characters: Clark, Lex, Jonathan, Whitney, Lana, Gabe Sullivan, plus one.
Summary: The most heroic thing Clark did on a regular basis was to stitch up Taber’s right side whenever he needed it.
A/N: See above. I need bribery. And possibly puppies.

toomuchplor: (Clark blushes)
Rating: NC-17 (or, as [livejournal.com profile] black_siren put it, "Wow... this is really gross. Which probably means good to your audience." *hugs her little non-slashy self*)

Pairing: Clark/Lex

Length: ~5,500 words

Summary: Clark is drunk and happy and in Lex’s presence, and Lex would have bet his career earlier today that those three things would never happen at the same time.

A/N: Prompted waaaaay back when. I was in a fannish mood and [livejournal.com profile] hyperfocused said "There's either a desperate shortage, or a dangerous overabundance of plor*. Either Clark or Lex has to fix the problem. (Embarassingly, I don't know what plor is, obviously.)" Also? I hate the present tense. It has this way of turning all past-tense-y WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. Hope that didn't happen in here anywhere.

Title: Carte Blanche
Fandom: Smallville
Author: [livejournal.com profile] toomuchplor ([livejournal.com profile] rose_emily)
Pairings: Chloe/Lex, Clark/Lex
Rating: NC-17
Prompt: When enemies marry (Chloe/Lex or Clark/Lex)
Summary: Lex has never gotten it when Chloe says that anyone who uses so much white in their clothing and décor must have something to hide.
Notes: Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] mecurtin and [livejournal.com profile] treetracer for scooping up all my extra commas and 'that's. Any remaining atrocities are entirely my own. I meant for this to be a bit fluffy, but instead Chloe and Lex got all serious on me.

The Story

I have another wee Christmas surprise for everyone which I will post closer to the 25th. I haven't seen Lexmas yet (bad fangirl!) but hopefully I'm not unwittingly rewriting the episode. With more gay sex.

Actually, I hope that's exactly what I'm doing. It sounds like a good plan.
